Built during the Mamluk times, Hammam El Sheikh is today one of two operational public hammams in Saida. The hammam features classic Arab architecture with circular patterns of stained-glass openings in its domes, allowing coloured light rays into its rooms. Renovated to its original structure and functionality by the Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development, the hammam is open for traditional bathing and café services.
