The Abou Nakhleh Mosque used to serve as the meeting place for the ‘Al Abidiyah’ brotherhood. Lying in the alleys of Old Saida, it is a mosque without a minbar. It is said that the poor used to visit the adjacent alleyway weekly to receive warm meals donated by the old city’s rich. The mosque has been renovated three times by the Islamic Endowment Department and local groups.
