    Description

    Accessible from the Dahr El Mir Square, Zawiyat Al Zaatari was built by Sheikh Mehyeddine Abdul Qader Al Gilani and later gifted to Sheikh Khalil Al Zaatari by Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid. Mainly comprising of a courtyard and a narrow praying hall, it functioned as a meeting point for religious teachings. The zawiya has been renovated by the Al Zaatari family.
