Saida started to recover its ancient history and glory in horseback riding. It is well known that Saida had one of the most famous horseback riding clubs in Lebanon. Unfortunately, this club was closed in the seventies. Saida and its suburbs have begun to witness many serious attempts to revive this sport. These attempts are still immature due to the lack of financial support and the lack of dedicated individuals like those who founded the old clubs which is nowadays known as Bustan Al Balah at the northern entrance of Saida.
