Maronite Church

by gdeveloper

Christians in old Saida were allowed to establish a new church instead of their church, which could not be returned to them. The Maronites chose the old church after it was a home of a Christian man, then donated it to a church. The old church remained a place of residence for the Maronite community in Sidon until 1952, when the sect ended the construction of the new church currently located in Riad El Solh Street.
